The Nigerian film industry (Nollywood) has produced a lot of famous celebrities that grace our screens today, it is also amazing to know that some of these celebrities started out as kid actors. 1. Somadina Adinma

He is originally from Nnewi in Anambra state, but was born and bred in Lagos. Adinma is a graduate of Theatre Arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He was born and bred in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria, where he completed both his primary and secondary school education. Somadina Adinma is originally from Neni, a small town in Nnewi Local Government Area of Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. Consequently He joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2003 at the age of 3 years old and acted as a child actor in the 2003 blockbuster movie Egg of Life.
2. Sharon Ezeamaka
Sharon Ezeamaka is a Nollywood actress, producer, model and a television personality. The Actress started acting at the age of 5 years old as a child actress. Born on 24th October 1992 in Lagos, Nigeria. She is very beautiful and talented. She is originally from Enugu State. In 1997, Sharon Ezeamaka joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) at the age of 5 years old and acted in her first movie “Narrow Escape” as a child actress alongside with Nollywood legendary actor Pete Edochie. In 2000, she rose to fame after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Dear Mother” a tragic movie which she acted as a child actress alongside with Hilda Dokubo. He is currently the United Nation Ambassador and African Youth Representative to the United Nation. He was born and bred in Abia State. Also He is very handsome and talented. Williams Uchemba is a graduate of International Relation from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2000 as a child actor and rose to fame in 2001 after featuring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “The Journey of the Dead” a movie he acted alongside with Pete Edochie, Olu Jacobs and Ramsey Noah. Additionally The movie “The Journey of the Dead” brought him to limelight and made him a public figure.
4. Regina Daniels
Regina Daniels is a Nollywood actress, model, producer, television personality and a philanthropist. Regi was born on 13th May 2000 in Asaba, Delta State. She is currently 22 years old. Regi joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 2007 at the age of 7 years old. In 2010, she rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “” a tragic movie which she acted alongside with Chinwe Owoh. She is a graduate of Mass Communication from Igbinedion University Okada in Edo State. She is currently married to Prince Ned Nwoko. Miss Daniels top the list of richest actresses in Nigeria. Chukwudi Okoro popularly known as Ikenta started his career as a Nollywood kid actor, but today he has grown into a handsome young man. He is an actor, a movie producer and a television personality. Chukwudi Okoro is popularly known for playing the role of a spoilt brat who is fond of intimidating people. Playing the role of troublemaker in several Nollywood movies. He always features in epic, comedy and tragic movies. Also He joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1999 as a kid actor and starred in his first movie Onye Eze which he acted alongside with Nkem Owoh (Osuofia). 6. Chinenye Nnebe
Chinenye Nnebe is a Nollywood actress, model, and a television personality. Nnebe started her acting career as a Nollywood kid actress in 2003. She is the daughter to Nollywood costumier and movie producer Uche Nancy. Nenye was born on 5th April 1997 in Asaba, Delta State. She is currently 25 years old. She is the last child in the family. Information of her father is unknown, she alongside with her siblings were single handedly raised by their mother. In 2003, Chinenye Nnebe was introduced into the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) by her mother Uche Nancy as a child actress. She has featured in over 70 Nollywood movies.

Promise Odika started his career as a Nollywood kid actor, but today he has grown into a handsome young man. He is an actor, a movie producer, a model and a television personality. Promise Odika is popularly known for playing the role of an orphan who is been maltreated by his step mother. He always features in tragic and sorrow movies. He joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1998 as a kid actor. Promise Odika was born and raised in Aba, Abia State. He started acting at a very tender age while still in primary school. Samuel Ajibola is a Nollywood actor known as ‘Spiff’ by his admirers because of his amazing performance in the Nigerian television drama ‘The Johnsons.’ He started his career as a Nollywood kid actor. He is a Nigerian actor, model, events planner, comedian, entrepreneur and a television personality. Ajibola began his acting career in 1995 at the age of 6 years old in the Opa Williams directed movie, Tears for Love. He is also famous for being the first Nigerian child actor to win the award for Best Child Actor for three years in a row. On 4th March, 2017 he won the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for Best Actor in an M-net comedy series The Johnsons. He was born in Mazamaza, Lagos. He is the first child in a family of four children. Finally He hails from Ekiti State.

Sandra Uchemba is the younger sister to Williams Uchemba. She also started her career as a Nollywood child actress. Sandra Uchemba hold a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. She is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
