Forr all of us, the big 31 is a significant birthday. Some of us fear it, while others welcome it, but the truth is that no matter how you feel about it, you can’t escape it—even if you’re famous.
While some Nollywood actresses turned 31 this year, others will soon turn 31. From Nancy Isime to the adorable Luchy Donalds, here are photos of how these women have changed since becoming famous.
1. Linda Osifo
Turns 31 on: July 27th
Linda was 22 years old when she starred in her first Nollywood film, ‘King Akubueze,’ directed by Nonso Emekewe. She is now well-known throughout Africa as a result of her roles in Nigerian soap operas such as Tinsel and Jimeji.
2. Bimbo Ademoye
Turned 31 on: 4th February
Bimbo Ademoye made a name for herself in 2014 with her role in the short film ‘Where Talent Lies’, and she has since become a regular on our screens.
3. Sharon Ooja
Turned 31 on: 6th April
Sharon Ooja rose to prominence in 2015 as “Shalewa” in the web series Skinny Girl in Transit. She is now a Nollywood actress who many believe has great potential.
4. Wendy Lawal
Turned 31 on: 25th February
Wendy’s professional acting career began in 2009, when she appeared on the television series “Living in Lagos.” She rose to prominence in 2012 as Shoshanna in the television series Tinsel. Wendy Lawal is the only married actress on this list.

5. Nancy Isime
Turn 31 on : 17th December
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Nancy Isime’s debut as an actress. In 2011, she made her acting debut in the TV series Echoes. Nancy Isime is arguably the most sought-after female television presenter, aside from acting.
6. Luchy Donalds
Turn 31 on : May 28th
Luchy Donalds debuted in Nollywood in 2006 and has since appeared in a number of blockbuster films. She has learned a lot from her senior colleague, who has many years of experience in the industry.
