Suspected Ritualists Kill Boy And Remove Vital Organs In Adamawa

According to police investigations, the victim was a pupil of one of the Tsangaya Islamiyya Schools situated in the community where the incident happened.
The corpse of a teenage boy was discovered on Monday, February 13, in Rumde ward behind Yola North Local government Secretariat Jimeta, Adamawa State with his tongue and eyes removed by suspected ritualists.

According to police investigations, the victim was a pupil of one of the Tsangaya Islamiyya Schools situated in the community where the incident happened.

Some residents of Rumde ward who preferred anonymity said they heard the victim crying for help but thought he was being disciplined by an elder.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said the investigation has commenced unraveling the cause of the incident to track down the culprits, stressing that the corpse of the boy was taken to the hospital for autopsy.
