Early Life and Education
Emanuella comes from the eastern part of Nigeria, Imo State precisely, although she was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the south-south region of Nigeria, where she grew up with her parents.
Emmanuella parents are James Samuel, her father while the mother is Cynthia Samuel. She was raised by her parents, and they gave her the needed support in her entertainment career despite being so young and still in school.
She attended Brighton Gate Academy School, Port Harcourt, where she started acting in comedy skits with Mark Angel Comedy after Mark Angel approached her parents and they allowed her to be part of the comedy crew.
Career
Emmanuella began her journey into comedy at the age of 5 after she met Uncle Mark Angel while on a family vacation, who sought the permission of Emmanuella’s parents to join the comedy team.
Mark Angel invited a few kids he knew for the audition since he wanted some kids for his comedy shoot, but they couldn’t memorize their lines, so he resorted to Emmanuella.
She performed admirably despite the 18-hour film shoot, which he staged to test the youngsters’ stamina.
After being chosen, Mark Angel had to persuade her parents to allow her to join the Mark Angel Comedy Team, which she eventually succeeded in doing.
Emmanuella has now risen to become one of the best comedians in Nigeria and earned a role in the Australian film Survive or Die.
She gained prominence in the comedy industry after performing the comic routine “This is Not My Real Face Oh,” in which she made jokes about a headmistress to her fellow students without realizing the student was the headmistress’s child.
